We work with the main Housing Associations in Cardiff to help people find an affordable home in the city. We have a common waiting list for council and housing association properties, but also offer advice about other options.

We offer all applicants housing advice to help you decide whether applying to join the common waiting list is the best option, and whether you are likely to be offered a home in the near future.
We have a limited number of homes to rent, so we have a set of rules to help us decide who we should offer these to. This helps us make sure that we help people with the greatest housing need first. It also makes sure that applicants have a choice about where they want to live.
We also use slightly different rules called 'Local Lettings Initiatives' where we need to address issues in a particular area.
